Bareilly, 12 December 2025 — The BMIIL Incubation Center (Bareilly Medtech Incubation & Innovation Labs) conducted the Nursing-Led Innovation Program for students of the College of Nursing, led by Mr. Claudius Lazarus, Co-Founder & CEO of BMIIL. The program was designed to integrate innovation and entrepreneurship with nursing education and practice, encouraging students to explore creative solutions to real-world healthcare challenges and develop an entrepreneurial mindset.
Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Claudius Lazarus said, “Nursing students are at the forefront of healthcare delivery. Our aim is to equip them with the tools, mentorship, and exposure needed to turn innovative ideas into practical solutions that can transform patient care.”
The program familiarized students with incubation concepts, healthcare start-ups, and nursing-led innovations, supported by expert insights into emerging opportunities in the healthcare sector. Through interactive sessions, students were encouraged to identify real-world healthcare challenges and develop innovative solutions, enhancing critical thinking and creativity.
The event also raised awareness about mentorship, funding opportunities, and institutional support, strengthening the research and innovation culture within the Nursing Department and inspiring students to explore entrepreneurial roles alongside their professional practice.
