Bareilly, 10February 2026 — Bareilly Medtech Incubation & Innovation Labs (BMIIL) kicked off its Faculty Led InnovationProgram (AYURVEDA & PHARMACY) with a dynamic blend of outdoor action and entrepreneurial creativity, turning the BIU campus into a live innovation arena.
The event was designed and conducted by the Co-Founder & CEO of BMIIL, Mr. Claudius Lazarusfollowing with the faculty members from department of Ayurveda and Pharmacy.
The event showed-up a great enthusiasm from the team members. All the faculty members actively participated. Started from the introduction and insights of what an- incubation centre means to ending it up with an activity in which all the members showed a keen interest and came along with various innovative startup ideas.
A total of 42faculty members organized into 8 teams, identified real clinical challenges using herbal plants and presented some startup ideas in the form of medicinal products aiding the area of Cosmetology, Daily Health supplements, Chronic Disease Management solution concepts within defined time limits.
In Faculty Led Innovation Program session task was assigned to identify the medicinal plant within the campus and use them to create innovative products. There were 7 participants from a single team, 5 members from Department of Pharmacy and 2 members from the Department of Ayurveda and they coordinated with each other, while people from Ayurveda helped their team identifying the Medicinal plants and people from Pharmacy helped in the formulation of ingredients needed to make the useful products.
The program familiarized faculty members with incubation concepts, healthcare start-ups, and innovations, supported by expert insights into emerging opportunities in the healthcare sector.
